We translate our six core services into market sectors, disciplines and specialisations on a variety of experience levels. Our firm employs 80 people, who share a common ambition to be a preferred partner in the qualitative filling of key positions in the top 10% of the labour market. Executives & Senior Management 

In the Executives & Senior Management segment, we have a strong position in the fields of Executive Search and Recruitment & Selection (including assessment and development) that are focused on filling board and senior management positions. Examples include commissioner's posts, members of the Board of Management, senior executive officers and division management positions. After 25 years of building up our network, we know and meet a large number of top-ranked people, who often started out as promising students and have eventually made it to the highest level. As a client or as a candidate. The result of our continuous ‘monitoring of people', our advertisements or as a follow-up to our activities in the areas of Executive Search or Executive Interim Management.

Management & (Young) Professionals

With our exclusive ‘communities' of candidates and clients, we are one of the leaders in the Recruitment & Selection of Management Professionals, Young Professionals and specialists. We specifically focus on top-level candidates who aim to take the next step in their career. Exceptional specialists and promising leaders with the potential to grow toward senior management positions. The candidate is of key importance. Campus Recruitment

A long-term investment. We focus on recent university graduates who in the course of their studies have shown that they are distinguished by above-average characteristics. Our 120 student recruiters are all university students themselves, allowing them to get to know and to recruit the very best students. As the market leader in the young top academics segment, we continue to work on the future of talent and our firm.

Important decision

Clients are entitled to a thorough analysis. History

Ebbinge Consultants, an executive search, recruitment and selection agency for the leading segment of the labour market, is established in 1982. Founder Pier Ebbinge is the first in the sector to opt for advertising in the top segment. With a distinguishing approach, remarkable phrasing and transparency when it comes to salaries.

Network and broadening our field of activity

Since our launch in 1982, the firm has gone through a development focused on broadening and deepening our field of activity. Ebbinge Campus, which targets the top segment of the young academics market, is set up in 1988. ‘Campus' is the first to offer a large, exclusive network of student recruiters. In 1992, the firm expands its activities to include recruitment and selection focused on young managers and professionals with a maximum of approximately five years of work experience. This creates a logical connection between ‘Campus' and the activities in the top segment. A strong foundation for advising and supporting candidates in their career development.

HR Advisory Services

In 1994, Pier Ebbinge sells his firm to KPMG, laying the groundwork for the next period of growth under the name KPMG Ebbinge. The consultancy starts up new advisory services, which will form the foundation for Ebbinge's current activities in the area of HR Advisory Services (Assessment, Development, Coaching). The firm furthermore launches the Labour Market Survey, a large-scale national study involving over 4,000 participants, which is seen as an extremely reliable monitor of the labour market.

2004: Ebbinge & Company

New legislation and regulations relating to the field of the KPMG accountants inspires a management buyout. Activities are energetically stepped up under the new name Ebbinge & Company. The firm's Public Sector executive search activities are taken over from Deloitte Human Capital Group, for instance. This creates a new position in the premier segment of the public sector. In September 2004, Ebbinge & Company opens its Brussels branch, from where a growing number of clients in the Belgian and multinational markets are introduced to our approach. In 2006, we launch Ebbinge Executive Interim Management, which allows us to meet the growing demand for temporary (senior) management.

25 years of Ebbinge

In 2007, we move to our current office in De Cuserpark, a fantastic work environment for our team and a ‘meeting point for the upper echelon of the market'. It has an open atmosphere in which our clients and candidates have proven to feel right at home. In addition, the firm's ‘founding partners' Paul van Dam and Ron Jansen guarantee the continuity of Ebbinge & Company with five new partners: Sacco van der Velde, Wieke Janssen, Anita te Water, Joost Ouwerkerk and Frank ten Doeschate.
More than anything, 25 years of Ebbinge means looking ahead and continuing to work towards our ambition: to be the best in our field of work. A lot is changing, but the good things have remained the same. Like the image in the advertisements as it was established by Pier Ebbinge. From the beginning of 2009 these will be in a new but recognisable format.
