Ebbinge (“Ebbinge”, “we, “us”) shares your concerns about the protection of your personal information online. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes our practices regarding the collection and use of information through our websites hosted in the Netherlands and Belgium and located at www.ebbinge.nl and www.ebbinge.be (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the Site. Our firm has established and implemented a Code of Conduct on Data Protection. Our offices comply with the standards of this Code and we request our clients to respect the same safeguards.
 
The main principles of our Code of Conduct on Data Protection are:

1. We only register data for the purposes of our recruitment, selection & executive search and our HR consulting services.

2. Ebbinge collects personally identifiable information (that is, information from which an individual can be identified, such as full name, email address and physical address) and other information that visitors to the Site choose to provide to us, for example when registering as a candidate for our search services, when uploading, in responding to employment opportunities posted on the Site, when taking assessment tests or when contacting us via email. We will always obtain from candidates an unambiguous consent before sharing personal data with clients. We also collect information from our clients and others in the course of the various executive search services that we provide, as well as by conducting research using the Internet and other resources. 

3. Individuals who send their unsolicited data will be informed that such data will be registered in our databases and can be transferred to other offices of Ebbinge unless the individual objects. 

4. Ebbinge will not keep or process sensitive data (revealing political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or data concerning and individual’s health or sex life).

5. We take appropriate state-of-the-art, technical and organisational security measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, improper alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access.

6. Individuals whose personal data have been processed by our firm have the right to obtain the following information:

- whether or not data has been processed; 

- the purposes of the processing; 

- the recipients to whom data has been disclosed.

They are entitled access to all data that is accessible through a computer search under the individual’s name and have the right to rectify or delete any data.

7. Our clients acknowledge that they will adhere to the same standards of data protection.
